termination of articleship

15 November 2008 I am a final CA student. I have completed one&half years articleship in my firm.My attempt is May 2009. I asked my sir to grant me transfer but in reply he said that all he could do was to give me termination. I wanted to know the meaning of termination, the consequences of it as well as please suggest me remedial measures against it.Will my articleship duration till date be counted or not? Please giude me

16 November 2008 U only ask him what does it mean. Ask wether does he is ready to sign transfer form.

According to me, both are same....

16 November 2008 There is no transfer of articleship now. Only termination for which execute form 108 with present employer.Then execute form 102 and 103 with the new employer. Form 108 and 103 are to be sent to icai. Duration till date of form 108 will be counted.
