Kindly confirm TDS u/s 194C needs to be deducted when payment exceeds Rs.75,000/- during the financial year 2012-13.

Threshold limit
Single Bill Rs 30000/-
Annual transaction Rs 75000/- p.a.
If single bill is less than Rs 30000/- and payment during the year exceeds Rs 75000/- TDS needs to be deducted on the whole amount.
