Hi All
It's a partnership firm, trading unit.TDS deducted uls 94A, 94I, 94C amt is 54000/- paid but the return is not filed till date, i want to file it in october 2014, what is the penalty or interest.
april to june 2014 Due date of filing Return is 15th July filing on 10/10/2014
late by no. of days 97*200= 19400/-how to pay, which challan to use ???? should i pay on 10/10/2014 or before????

Please check it will be Rs 17400 for 87 days. Same challan i.e., ITNS 281 to be used. There is specific column for fees u/s 234E. Pay before filing of return and show the amount in your return.
Also note that question has been raised over section 234E and stay has been granted bu various high courts. Matter is subjudice and decision yet to come.
