I want to revise a TDS return of our client but our client has misplaced the provisional receipt of original returns filed and the provisional number is not available in any other records.
How to find out/ trace the Provisional Receipt number of TDS Return??

Just go to the TIN facilitation centre, where the original TDS return was submitted & tell them some details like :
>The exact date of submission of TDS return
>Your TAN / PAN etc
They will be able to trace-out your receipt no.

AGREED, THERE IS ONLY WAY TO TRACING RECEIPT NO., OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO WRITE A LETTER TO NDSL FOR IT WHICH TAKES TIME.
