Hi All
I have received Notices for TDS demand u/s 200A for the F.Y. 2009-10 short payment 50610/-,short deduction 160/-, interest on short payment & deduction 18010/-&30/-, interest on late payment 116/-
how pay this in challan 281. ?????????
which section should i use 200/400 ?????

Code 400 should be used. Choose any one section to which such payment relates.

You should show the interest in Interest column.

WHAT ABOUT SHORT DEDUCTION & SHORT PAYMENTS IN INCOME TAX COLMUN OR INTEREST OF OTHERS ??????????

It has to be in Income Tax column as these are TDS which should have been deducted but was short deducted.

It is interest amount only and needs to be paid under interest column.

i paid intetest amt 850/- F.Y.2014-15 twice, can i use one chalan for F.Y.2013-14
against interest.

Use separate challan to deposit interest for different quarters so that you can match the challan against outstanding demand of the respective quarter.
