DEAR SIR,
I HAVE PURCHASE A SERVER, COMPUTER SOFTWARE OF RS. 360000/-, PARTY CHARGED THE SERVICE TAX AND CST BOTH. PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE ABOUT TDS LIABILITY ON SOFTWARE. WE CAN DEDUCT THE TDS OR NOT IF NOT PLEASE GIVE ME CIRCULAR NO OR CASE LAW.

TDS is not applicable for Purchase of Software, since there is no service involved but software providers charging Service tax because of Law only.
