Dear experts,
one of my client has taken office on rent included furniture, chair, table, computer etc, the office rent is 10000 PM and the furniture, chairs, computer rent is 7000 PM total he is paying RS. 170000/-, however my client is deducting 10% TDS on office rent as per secion 194I, please let me know weather TDS will be attract on this furniture, chair, computers etc. if yes how much.....

Hi,
TDS should be deducted on total amount,but percentage varies:-
10% on Rent of land or building or furniture or fitting.
2% on Rent of plant and machinery.
