30 June 2011 My sister-in-law has fixed deposits with a Bank, for which tax has been deducted at source inspite of her having submitted the relevant form, since she could not provide a PAN number. I have since applied for her pancard. Kindly let me know which form (e-filing) is to be used for applying for IT refund.

30 June 2011 If she had only 'interest income' ITR-1(Sahaj) can be e-filed.

30 June 2011 in this case one problem will arise that the details of tax deducted will not match because u have obtained PAN late
pl get the TDS return of Bank rectified indicating ur PAN number
