some one tell me that an accountant is not deduct tds with the cess rate 3% . instead of 10.30% under the interest on other then security . and also he has paid same amount in the bank .tell me he had done right or wrong dedut tds if righr why.

your Accountants is correct. Now TDS rate is exclusive of cess except TDS on Salary

in last fy it was thr but now the cess is no more so he is seems to be correct. Agreed with Mr sunil
