regarding TDS late fee penalty u/s200E of IT act
can U pl let us know, legal representation by IT assessee
which state HIgh courts given stay and or not given against section 200E
is there any pending /appeal before suprime court

08 June 2014 the penalty is under 234E and not 200E.

the stays are at Rajasthan, Karnataka and Kerala High Court. No pending case at SC.

please note that the stay is only for the proceedings against the appellant assessee and not for all the assessees in the state.
