I received a Notice of TDS, in whice not clearfy that under what section I have to deposit my TDS amount. In my tds return, I deposited Tds u/s 194C, 194H, 194I. PLZ HELP ME

03 November 2012 TDS demand notice will always come mentioning the Form number such as 26Q or 24Q with the amount & period details. you need to refer the particular period forms and findout which section and pay accordingly

if notice says 24Q then, directly you can pay under 192, if 26Q you need to check the return details for exact section

It IS IN 26Q. Whats kind of details i chek in return.

05 November 2012 In the notice they may have state the amount of default and interest till date details

In case of they mentioned amount of default you can correlate the amount with challans

Incase only interest portion. you verify the challan date with the actual due date and arrive the interest portion with demand notice you came to know which section
