04 August 2011 Suppose courier charges paid in a year doesnot exceed 30k in single payment or 75k in aggregate, but towards the end of the year there is a payment of 30k or more at once then will TDS be applicable on all the previous payments also??
p.s. Total expense is not exceeding 75k during the year.

If single bill exceeds Rs.30K then tds will be applicable on that bill amount and if other bills are below Rs.30K, need not to deduct tds on those bills but make sure that limit of Rs.75K does not exceeds during the year otherwise you will have to deduct tds on all the bills.

04 August 2011 No deduction is to be made, the amount of any sum credited or paid or liked to be credited or paid, if such sum does not exceed 30000 rupees.
But in your case, payment made more than 30000, so on that particular payment tds u/s 194c is applicable.
Payment also covered not only bill.
