01 June 2011 sir we have deducted the tds on salary in the first quarter and 3rd quarter of f.y. 2010-11. we have filed the tds return for the first quarter on 15.07.2010 and tds return for the third quarter on 01.01.2011 i want to know on which date we should issue the tds certificates of the same employee whose tds is deducted in the respective two quarters.plz reply soon.

01 June 2011 Quarterly TDS certificates are meant only for form 16A.

01 June 2011 You have to file TDS return of salary for Q4 also even if no TDS was deducted during that quarter because together with Q4 return annual statement of salary is also filed.
