I want to know about the TDS certificate i.e Form 16A. Who can issue the form 16A. Is it mendatory that it should be generator from the software from which return was filed or we can make it mannualy in excel .

08 June 2010 It is not mandatory to generate 16A from software. It can be issued manually.

08 June 2010 Form 16A is issued by the person deducting tax on resdient individual other than tax deducted u/s 192 on salaries.

Form 16A can be generated from excel also. No problem in that.
