i want to known about tds rate on salaried person

TDS on salaries is computed as under:
Calculate the estimated total income for the whole year after giving effect to various deductions.
Compute the tax liability for the whole year using slab rate.
This tax liability is spread over the year and deducted on a monthly basis.
This exercise is done on a monthly basis and effect is given to any changes in income or investment.
