27 October 2016 One of our Client gives salary to the employee a fixed amount as salary and a variable amount salary as commisssion based on turnover , while doing TDS Returns please confirm whether we can show the same commission as Salary in Form 24 Q. I presume this is the correct way, please clarify

27 October 2016 Yes, u must treat that commission as a part of salary, it can b treated as target incentive. The logic of not showing it as commission is that u r paying the amount to ur employee and he/she is not raising any bill for that type of commission. So the Company must treat that as salary and deduct tax accordingly.
