06 August 2014 Hi All,

I have deposited TDS of Rs.55000/- on Professional services on May.2014 but due to negligence A.Y. has written 2013-14 in respect of 2015-16.TDS depatment issued demand notice of Rs.55000/- with Interest due to Challan not match.

In that case what i will do.What is the Procedure to update the challan.

07 August 2014 Hi Sanjay,

Thanks a Lot but my problem still in existence because time limit for correction of challan by bank expired.Now I think correction will be done by only Assessing Officer.Any prescribed Application form to Assessing Officer is available or only Simple Application on Letter Head to be applied.

07 August 2014 Simple application on letter head. Enclose a copy of the said challan along with the letter.
