06 January 2014 One of our client is paying interest on loan to Bajaj Finance Ltd., whether they are liable to deduct TDS. Please provide the link also

06 January 2014 yes, TDS under sec.194A will apply

08 January 2014 This depends on the category of client. Incase the client is proprietary concern and not liable to tax audit, he may not deduct the TDS. Else every concern, Partnership firm, LLP, company or any artificial body has to deduct TDS for interest paid either at due date or payment date whichever is earlier
