Sir,
Plz help me I worked in an organisation and my organisation did a contract with other other organisation for house keeping services in the month of Oct 2011.
My organisation pay monthly house keeping charges Rs 6400/-. Is TDS applicable on such amount, if yes then rate of TDS & which section.

tds is not applicable for year ending 31 mar 11, as the contract done in oct11.
however it is applicable since 1 apr 11.
