25 January 2015 ONE OF MY CLIENT OPENING A a/c bar and resturant from first feb2015. I want to know whether he is liable for service if his turnover per month is more than 5 lakhs if yes rate of tax payable PLEASE GUIDE ME SO THAT I CAN GET SERVICE TAX REGISTGRATION

25 January 2015 Kerala high court, among others, ruled that levy of service tax on bar attached restaurant is unconstitutional. But recent decision of Jharkhand high court is favouring the revenue.
