We are a institution registered under society act , we made a payment of Rs. 1,00,000/- to an election officer (not a government officer) for the arrangement of election of our institution. Whether TDS will be deducted on that payment. Please also mentioned the section of Income Tax under which, TDS will be deducted.

pls Clarify the Nature of Expense you are incurring
i mean what kind of expenses are involved in that payment
Suppose if the Expense involve payment for expenses such as Catering Expenses
it would be liable for TDS U/s.194C
