A person, having agricultural land which gets compulsurily acquired by govt, divides the money received as compensation between his sons. will that money attract tax in the hands of his sons? please guide on the tax implication of this case.

Father will have to pay tax...son have recvieved it as gift not taxable in hands of sons.
