30 July 2015 Hi Sir,

This is query regarding withdrawal of PF before 5 years and filing IT return. I have withdrawn PF in the month of Jul 2014 and got it. But TDS was deducted on it. Now I have claimed deduction for PF under section 80C in FY 2012-13 and 2013-14. Now how to file ITR. I have got form 16 only for employers contribution + interest. Do I need to re-file my previous years ITR for FY 12-13 and 13-14.

Plewase help in filling.

31 July 2015 No need to re-file previous return. For the year in addition to normal tax you have to pay tax on concession availed earlier and tax on employer contribution and interest earned.

But how to intimate IT department that the tax paid in extra are for the deductions claimed earlier. If it needs to be intimated in form in which section.

I have paid tax in excess and will file ITR for refund.
