Sir,
Can TDS is refundable on lottery when a person is not any other income.
Can TDS is refundable on lottery when a person is not any other income.

If a person has earned lottery income and he has no other income and also the lottery income is less than the maximum amount not chargeable to tax (Rs. 180000, Rs. 190000 etc.), then he will file his return of income and claim refund of the TDS on lottery income.
The same will be refunded to him.
