24 March 2025 For fy 24-25 I have got speculation intraday trading profit of 100000 (1lakh),SHORT TERM CAPITAL GAIN ON SHARES IS 4 LAKH AND LONG TERM CAPITAL GAIN OF 3 LAKH. ON WHAT AMOUNT OF SHORT TERM CAPITAL GAIN I WILL HAVE TO PAY TAX.And WHat tax I will have to pay on intraday speculation profit of 1 lakh? I am a senior citizen, and i have no income othan this income

24 March 2025 1. No tax liability over the intraday profit and over 2 lakhs STCG.
2. Over LTCG.. @ 12.5%... 3 lakhs less 1.25 L u/s. 112A
3. Over STCG @ 20% ... 2 lakhs

24 March 2025 in another case only intraday profit of 1 lakh and LONG TERM PROFIT on shares of 3 lakh there is no other income and no short term capital gain what will be the tax on long term capital gain
