but ma'm , the language of sec 43b is as such that i am confused....
the wordings are " any duty or taxes payable"
then the tds will be covered or not??????
please also explain with some case laws or evidences.

That words related to indirect taxes not for Direct taxes and which are debited to P&L account think your self TDS payable is a liability not the expenditure. So not attracts for 43B please go through the section it is very clear. Simple under standing is it deals with the transactions which are debited to p&l a/c because it starts with the words " some expenditures allowable as actual payment basis".
