Issue with PTEC Registration – PAN Already Used

12 March 2026 Dear Sir/Madam,

Our CA registered our LLP for PTRC but did not register it for PTEC. When we try to apply for PTEC, the portal shows that the PAN is already used for another registration.

We have contacted PT support but have not received a resolution.

Kindly guide us on how to complete the PTEC registration and pay the PTEC contribution.

13 March 2026 The Mahagst portal is rejecting your PTEC application because your LLP's PAN is already tied to the PTRC profile created by your CA. To fix this, you must log into the portal using the existing PTRC credentials and apply for the PTEC from within the dashboard under "New Registration under Allied Acts." Once your PTEC TIN is generated, you can use the portal's e-Payment section to pay the annual ₹2,500 contribution.
