03 December 2011 I have entered payroll vouchers but not able to print payslip, I have checked all the configurations but not able to find out what is wrong? can anybody help me out in this matter?

05 December 2011 I tried it that way, but I think i might not activated few options due to which my entries are there in tally but the data is not reflecting in payslip. means payslip is blank.

26 July 2025 Got it! Your payroll entries are in Tally ERP 9, but the payslip prints blank, right? This usually happens due to some missing configuration or incomplete setup in payroll features.

Here’s a checklist to troubleshoot this issue:

### 1. **Activate Payroll Feature**

* Go to **Gateway of Tally > F11: Features > F1: Accounting Features**
* Make sure **Payroll/Attendance Management** is enabled.

### 2. **Check Payroll Configuration**

* Go to **Gateway of Tally > F12: Configure > Payroll**
* Check if you have set:

* Employee details correctly with payroll masters
* Salary details or attendance linked properly
* Payroll vouchers linked to correct employees

### 3. **Employee Creation**

* Make sure employees are created under **Payroll Info > Employees**
* Each employee must have proper salary structure assigned in **Payroll Info > Salary Details**

### 4. **Voucher Entry**

* Check that the payroll voucher has been passed using the right voucher type (Payroll Voucher)
* Check if the payroll vouchers are linked with employees correctly

### 5. **Payslip Printing**

* Go to **Display > Payroll Reports > Payslip**
* Select the relevant employee and period
* If the payslip is blank, check if the employee has any payroll entries for the selected period

### 6. **Check Voucher Dates and Period**

* Ensure the vouchers are within the payroll period you are trying to print.

### 7. **Check Payroll Masters like Earnings, Deductions, etc.**

* Go to **Payroll Info > Earnings / Deductions**
* Make sure they are created and assigned correctly.

### Bonus:

If after all this, payslip still shows blank, try:

* Restart Tally.
* Take a backup and restore in a new company and check if problem persists.
* Check for any Tally updates or patches that fix payroll bugs.
