Surrender of service tax registration

I have proprietorship firm having service tax registration number. From 1st June 14 I want to close my firm. I have issued some bill to my client in the month of April 14 and May 14. What to do for Surrender of Service Tax Registration. Please guide.

you must contact ur jurisdictional service tax officer in this case for surrendering ur reg number.

you first need to file the service tax return for this period and then apply for surrender online through aces.gov.in
