Surrender of Pan card after filling of IT Return

I am filling the IT return from 10 years but now I want to surrender that PAN card so can i surrender that pan card and note that its not a surrender in case of death

No need of surrender of PAN card when the person is alive. Having PAN no need to file return unless you have taxable income. PAN card is required for opening bank ac and for some other purposes like buying a property etc.
