31 July 2015 Hi,
I just resigned from an organization and my employer has detected TDS on superannuation I received.
Now I have filed my ITR - 1without showing income of superannuation and hence claimed refund in ITR....
My query.. Is it correct to ask for refund or I have to pay tax regarding the superannuation....
Thanks in advnace... Please guide me as I want to save tax because I am not earning now...
I have taken voluntary retirement....

31 July 2015 Your employer might have deducted tax considering taxable payments on superannuation. You can't claim refund without showing taxable superannuation income. Try for any tax saving schemes.
