20 December 2016 Sir,
I have filled all the details in GST site and trying to Submit my application but error occurs Failed to establish connection to server.
I have doubt whether digital signature is compulsory for GST application for Individual also???
Please help,

21 December 2016 Digital Signatures are not required for Proprietorship business, Provided that you need to sign the application using ESign application which is possible only if your Mobile Number & Email Address is updated in the records of UIDAI.
