Statutory obligation for selling exciseable goods on m.r.p.

06 August 2011 Dear Sir,
If a manufacturere of Auto Parts wants to sell his Exciseable products on M.R.P. U/s 4A.

What are the Statutory Obligation to follow this regarding Excise Department.

What type of Excise Register will he keep and when will he file the return and its Type ER-1 or any.

Please reply it soon.

13 August 2011 1.DSA (RG-1) for daily production and clearance

2. invoice book

3. PLA/GAR7 for duty payment

4. if cenvat credit is availed then RG23A-part 1, RG23A part 2, RG23C

5. Filing for return .........ER3(quarterly)- if you are availing any value based exemption i.e not paying duty upto 150 lacs .......... ER1 for others
