Hi Ujagar,
It takes time as even a month has not been passed. However, for the status, you can check the details by viewing detail of 'Articles Registered with the firm' under the 'Member's Record as on date' at www.icai.org. But for that purpose you need to ask principal for using some of his details viz. Membership No, DOB etc.
The other way is ask ICAI's auth via e-sahayataa.
and the Best One is...'Wait for some time'..:-)..
