Stamp Duty on LLP Agreement

15 March 2010 What is the stamp duty required for an LLP agreement in Karnataka? As the agreement is not required to be registered like regular partnership firm, I presume, Rs.1000/- stamp paper is not required.

15 March 2010 I belive that the stamp duty would be as per the state stamp act. Since LLP is a partnership (which has a seperate legal status), the Stamp duty would be such as would be applicable to a Partnership agreement only.

In Karnataka: Article 40 to the Schedule provides for the same.
