I am an individual earnign rent from commercial & Residentail complexes. is ST applicable on Residential flats also ?????????? amt is 3500 pm.on the flat

22 December 2014 Rent from residential dwelling for use as residence is covered in the negative list and hence service tax is not applicable. However, service tax is chargeable on rent from commercial premises.
