Dear experts,
A partnership concern engaged in transport business, plz clarify while issue consignment note to any proprietor ship firm, does this transporter need to charge ST in consignment note or not if yes how much....

You need to charge service tax on individual and proprietorship firm not registered with central excise and remit it to Govt at 14.5% on 30% value of transport bill.
