can i claim that amount, i have no execute any document

bank has refused to pay the amount to me from savig amountg a/c of my expire friend

who can claim that amount meas family member can claim?????????

How do you assert that u are the nominee do u have a copy of the nomination form if u dont get a copy from the bank. alternately is there any other document with u from your late friend stating that the amount in the bank is yours after his demise ? Wihtout this u cannot stake your claim.
