Sole proprietor registration

26 June 2017 I am sole proprietor having annual turnover less than 10 lakhs. My business concern is situated in Andhra pradesh. Hence, As per GST law i was not liable for registration. Further are there any specific acts which requires the registration of sole proprietor. In case are there please let me know.

26 June 2017 You may be required to get registered irrespective of turnover in following cases:
1. Registered under existing law (Excise/VAT/Service tax etc)
2. IF you plan to make inter-state outward supplies
3. If you are a e-commerce operator
4. If you want to sale THROUGH an e-commerce operator
5. If you are a agent and you make supplies on behalf of someone else
6. If you want your customers (B2B) to avail ITC benefits
7. If you have set-up branches and want to distribute ITC to them acting as a ISD (input Service Distributor)
