Signing of balance sheet without reg no of a company

30 October 2012 There is a pvt ltd company where there is no transaction and incometax return and roc compliances are required to be made.Can i sign the balance sheet without having COP No.


Please reply.Its urgent

30 October 2012 Not at all.. A CA in practise can only sign the balance sheet.
CA not holding COP can not perform attestation functions and you will be guilty of professional misconduct if you sign the balance sheet.
