the return of income for A Y 2009-2010 was filed within due date showing income of Rs. 60 lacs and TDS of Rs. 1457000/- was claimed instead of actual income of Rs. 58.50 lacs and TDS of Rs. 1498000/- As such income was overstated by Rs. 1,50,000 and TDS was short claimed by Rs. 50000/-. Now deptt. has raised demand of Rs. 10000/- on the basis of return filed. Pl advise what to do as time for filing revised return has lapsed.

Produce the TDS certificate / Form 16A / and request to consider the low turnover and higher TDS.
