24 April 2014 DEAR EXPERTS

WE HAVE A EXCISE REGISTERED MANUFACTURING UNIT TO BE SHIFTED TO NEW PREMISES FOR WHICH NEW REGISTRATION IS TAKEN.

WE HAVE HUGE QUANTITY OF FINISHED GOODS DECLARED IN LAST MONTHS ER1 RETURNS.

HOW TO SHIFT THESE FINISHED GOODS TO NEW PREMISES AND UNDER WHICH RULE/PROCEDURE.

PLEASE HELP ME AT THE EARLIEST.

26 April 2014 All goods you can transfer on challan at the new premises. The transfer is allowed only if stock of inputs as such or in process or the capital goods are also transferred along with the factory to the new site or ownership and the inputs or capital goods on which credit has been availed of are duly accounted for to the satisfaction of AC/DC. [rule 10(3)].

28 April 2014 Dear Mr.Arunkumar Singh,

Thanks for your opinion. We are going to move the finished goods under Rule 8 of valuation rules.

Hope this is the best solution.

One more question, is any permission required or just an intimation will do.
