Dear Sir,
Can you advise me how to rectify the error of Service Tax Return for July-September 2012?
Due to the error in previous return closing balance can not be entered for the period Oct-Mar'13 ?
Looking for your expert advise for correcting of Jul-Sep'12 as well as Oct-Mar'13?

Revised Service Tax return can be filed in within 90 days of filing original return.
So Service Tax return for period July-Sept can not be revised now. Just show the closing balance as per correct figures in Oct - March return and intimate the same to department through a letter stating youyr inability to file revised return since 90 day window is closed and also clearly stating the correction which was required to be made.
No other option seems to be available.
