Dear All,
We are very confused of director's service tax registration.
our director is service provider in our company as a director remuneration. so, our director liable for registration of service tax ?

Require Some Detail to Answer:-
>Check Form 32, Whether He is registered as Non Executive Director or Executive.
> Check What is The Per Month Remuneration.
From 1st July to 07th August.
If Exceed The Prescribed Limit Then Need to register, Otherwise Not.
> After 7th Aug, Company Will Pay The Service Tax, and Director Need Not requires to register for Service Tax.
>Check Form 32, Whether He is registered as Non Executive Director or Executive.
> Check What is The Per Month Remuneration.

Agreed with Expert's answer. After 7th august 12, it is under reverse charge mechanism and therefore it is the liability of the company.
