Service tax on vocational education

Dear Sirs,

our company is a private limited entity and we are providing workshops in colleges in school relating to engineering courses and at some places we are also offering diploma courses for students So my query is are we liable for service Tax or not?

23 January 2015 You are liable for service tax. If your diploma course is recognized no service tax applicable on that fees.

Thanks for your reply but a one thing more that we don't provide diploma course its just a certification course are we liable for service tax as per notification No. 164/15/2012 of service tax??

23 January 2015 If it is recognized/approved as stated in the notification exempted else service tax applicable.
