08 August 2012 Please tell me applicability of service tax with abatements if applicable on following.
1) Food elements if taken by guest from Rest. separate bill is raised by outlet
2)Sale of paper, Sale of Zerox.
3)sale of internet document printing.
4)sale of Swimming suit (goods)

09 August 2012 1. On the supply of food by the restaurant

in the Hotel room which is billed and charged separately the service tax shall be payable at 60% of the portion;

2. on sale of paper or zerox the service tax is payable with an appropriate abatement if VAT is not chargeable

3.same as above

4. no service tax
