Sir
1. We are doing road wideing work & structural consultancy services for BMRCL - Bangalore Metro Project, is it exempted from Service tax.
02. Construction of commercial or industrial structures service is exempted from Service tax

Unless there is a specific exemption the liability for ST exists. The consultancy appears tobe liable and the execution of the structures for metro would not be liable if the same can be said to be not for commercial use. Here it maybe noted that the parties towhom the service is provided are profit making concerns only the structure ios for public utiliity. There ius bound tobe a dispute inthis reagrd.
