Service tax epayment

01 April 2015 Dear CA Club Members,

Yesterday When I making the E Payment of service Tax from Canara Bank, Payment declined & Challan not generated, Hence i once again tried to make payment & it was successful. Later when checked the Bank statement both the Payments are debited to Bank account with Challan Nos. Then I sent the mail to NSDL with CC to Canara bank, to revert the First payment. But not got satisfactory reply from them. Kindly let me know, what I can do next to get back the amount.

Kindly guide me on this.

01 April 2015 Check both the challans if both challans generated you have to adjust this excess payment in next remittance.
