12 November 2011 Hello.... Our company is gonna file St quarterly returns for the first time... Though we have registered for ST our turnover has not exceeded 10L.. So we haven't charged ST till now & hence we are gonna file NIL returns only....Since we are gonnna file ST returns for the 1st time we are supposed to file some additional documents right? ..What are the additional documents to be filed?
Now that returns cannot be filed in paper form, how can i file these documents online?

12 November 2011 Service tax returns filing is 1/2 yearly and not 1/4ly. If tax is not collected and the turnover does not exceed Rs.10 lakhs, file NIL return. No supporting documents are to be attached in such cases ,though it is the 1st return.
