31 May 2011 Dear sir,
i have paid some donation to a religious charitable trust which is as per IT Act eligible for deduction u/s 80G.

Donations are paid by me during 2008-09,2009-10, 2010-11.

As per the receipts, it is mentioned on the receuipt that " aaykar mukti kramank 19(22)/ kar mukti/ haridwar/2005-06/tak0/71399 dinank 31-03-2006 - mukhya aaykar aayukt (osd)dehradun 80G ke aantagat dinank 01-04-2006 se 31-03-2011 tak viadhy"

my question is that can I cliam the deduction in my this year Income TAx return for the various donation paid by me in different years.
i am a salaried employee.

31 May 2011 DEDUCTION CAN BE CLAIMED ONLY FOR THE SUM PAID DURING THE RELEVANT PREVIOUS YEAR SO FOR AY 2011-12 U WILL BE ABLE TO CLAIM DEDUCTION FOR SUM PAID DURING 2010-11
